The Mosque of Hasan Aga

Rogova village

The Mosque of Hasan Aga

The building is located on the entrance of Rogova village, just behind the bridge along the flow of Drini River. The building is presumed to have been built in 16th century, and does not deviate significantly from construction technique used in Hadumi Mosque in Gjakova or Sinan Pasha Mosque in Prizren. From architectural perspective the building is unique, as its construction incoorporates eight pilasters inside which carry the drum and the dome. The minaret is covered by lead. The mosque was burned entirely during the last war and was rebuilt in 2008.
