The building is located on the main street at the entrance of the town coming from Peja. The Tekke was built by Sheh Danjolli, a name by which the Tekke is still known. It was built in 19th century. The Tekke is a sacred Islamic building and belongs to Rufai order. The building is made of the Ritual Hall (Samahane), a place reserved for worship (ziqer) where dervishes gather for ceremonies, a shrine surrounded by tombs of prominent national figures and other personalities of the order. The Samahane has a square base; and a decorated interior with geometric mural paintings and Quran citations - these decorations date back to the building period. Supporting walls of the building are arched; made of bricks, adobe bricks, lime mortar, clay mortar and covered with traditional roof tiles.
